The stamps issued in connection with the Hungarian Pavilion appear in special sheets, each consisting of 30 different stamps, illustrating 30 different phases of the motion of the Gömböc. Based on the idea of Mrs Maria Csegezi, director of philately of the Hungarian Post, a special stamp booklet will be issued, where the 30 phases can be displayed to imitate the motion by flicking the pages of booklet. There is also a special first day cover envelope decorated with the mathematical formulae of the Gömböc. The special postmark uses the Gömböc logo.
The stamp was designed, based on the photos of István Oravecz, by the creative team of Co&Co Communications, Richárd Nagy, Gergely Hosszú, Tamás Cosovan and Attila Cosovan.
Descriptions follow from the official website of the Hungarian Post office.
